P-controller
The smart P-controller provides remote access and remote power switch reboot
functionality support for up to 4 network servers or appliances
(e.g. for a remote power cycle reset). The P-controller comes
with 1-4 universal remote power switches (RE.99.R1Nx) that can be used to
remotely control the power up to 4 external devices, such as
network routers.
The remote access device controller is specially
designed to be used in the fast-growing out-of-band management
market segment to improve response times and customer service,
to reduce support costs and field service visits and to reduce
dependency on third parties.
The P-controller (Remote Access Device Controller) can be used stand-alone
or in combination with the CDMA/CDMA1x data router (C-router)
or the GSM/GPRS data router (G-router).

The smart P-controller is a self contained unit
which can be connected to up to 4 separate serial
console ports of remote networking equipment. The
unit can be used as a serial port extender for the
C-router or
G-router, giving
these smart data routers 1-4 additional serial ports
and relay contacts.

Order Number: RE.99.R1NC
The RE.99.R1NC is a remote power switch
that can be used to remotely control the power to an
external device, such as network routers. The unit
supports universal IEC320-C14 type input and
IEC320-C13 output connectors to easily fit between
the power cord and the device under control. The
RE.99.R1NC has a contact relay that is normally
closed (specify RE.99.R1NO for normally open). The
maximum switched current is 6A.
